Description
Each song tells a story in a grassy sort of way. It is an account of our early lives in Happy Valley, TN. Beginning with “Old Abe”, a prominant Overhill Cherokee Headman at Chilhowee, this CD is more like a book inspired by true events. Abrams Creek for instance, was named after Abe as part of the Smoky Mountain National Park. Every title, all the way to the end draws from events either on our father’s side (Appalachian) or our mother’s side (the northern plains). As an instrumental duo, this is the first time we have put out a vocal CD. We’ve invited several friends to take part in singing these life inspired songs.
